Welcome to the Board of Revision
e-Complaint simplifies the process by allowing 2 options for filing a Board of Revision complaint form. You can use e-Complaint to pre-fill your form to print and mail. Or, you may submit a complaint electronically via e-mail, eliminating the need for the Taxpayer to print, sign, notarize and mail a paper complaint.

e-Complaint Submission Dates
Wednesday, December 29, 2021
Thursday, March 31, 2022 at 4:30:00 PM EST.
The process consists of the following steps:
1.Enter up to 3 parcels
within the same School District
on each complaint.
What is my Property Parcel number?
2. Provide Owner/Complainant and the contact information for each.
3.Provide your opinion of Market Value for each property. This is the value you believe your property to be worth. If you were to sell your property, what amount would you ask for it?
4. You can only submit additional evidence by (1) Email to
, (2) mail, or (3) hand-deliver to our office. You cannot upload evidence through the e-file portal.
5. Provide sale and improvement information, and state whether you intend to present the testimony or report of a professional appraiser.
After you click submit, our office will almost immediately send you a copy of your complaint by email. IF YOU DO NOT RECEIVE A CONFIRMATION EMAIL WITH A COPY OF YOUR COMPLAINT, THE BOARD OF REVISION DID NOT RECEIVE IT EITHER. Call 216-443-7195 for assistance. The Complainant assumes all risks associated with the use of the electronic filing system, including the risk that the system may become unavailable at any time without prior notice, or that confirmations or notifications sent by the system may be blocked or delayed by causes beyond the control of the Board of Revision. Complainant is hereby notified that they are solely responsible for confirming that all documents and filings have been properly received by the Board of Revision for filing. Complainant, by its use of the electronic filing system, hereby agrees to hold the Board of Revision and Cuyahoga County harmless in the event of any interruption, unavailability, error or breakdown in service that results in an error in Complainant’s filing or in Complainant being unable to make its filing electronically, regardless of the source of the interruption, unavailability, error or breakdown in service
